Adventure: Reverting to Childhood at Venice Beach

We often lose sight of the simple things in life , like the joy that accompanies goofing off with a few of your friends. On the last day of a California road trip (LA, Anaheim, San Diego)  we decided to spend the day taking in Venice Beach. 

After a few cocktails...or three...we decided to splash around and take a ton of pictures, which resulted in a ton of laughter and the most perfect way to say goodbye to the West Coast. 

This moment in time goes down as one of my favorites, and I'm so glad I have so many pictures that show the joy we all felt at that moment  -- proof that the best things in life really are free.
